We are seeking to employ a capable individual to work alongside our Managing Director and Creative Team as we step into a significant growth phase of our agency.

Job Description.

As an Online Marketing Assistant with HodgesNet, the role will involve engaging with all the client focussed digital marketing projects in the company, being a sounding board, taking minutes of meetings (in-person and recorded), writing up documents and supporting the team for the completion of all projects.

The Person We’re Looking for Has/Is:

  • A warm and positive personality.
  • Forward-thinking, proactive and creative, self-motivated and ready to roll sleeves up and get stuck in.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure without compromising on quality, prioritising to meet deadlines.
  • A quick and efficient worker with a high attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Confident using software such as Google Docs, Gmail, Google Drive, with the ability to learn to use Monday.com, Dropbox, Slack and Zoom.
  • High-achieving attitude, ambitious and strong work ethic.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • 2+ years in a similar role or with previous work experience.
  • A passion for the personal development industry and a drive to learn about business
  • An understanding of Digital and Online Marketing, so you can support with online marketing activity and digital initiatives.
  • Should it be needed due to the current pandemic, a good distraction-free homeworking set-up.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Assist the Managing Director and Founder with all client deliverable projects and ongoing marketing services.
  • Scheduling and following up on appointments and meetings, online and in-person.
  • Assisting in the coordination of the creative team and client for the completion of projects in a timely fashion to avoid missing deadlines and agreed deliverables.
  • Minute taking from recorded online meetings, in-person meetings, including following up by sending minutes to team and clients, and the assignment of agreed tasks.
  • Transcribing and editing voice notes from the Managing Director for use in marketing, courses and other content to be published, including proofreading when required.
  • Working with current systems and tools in use in the business for tasks management, communication and file management.

STARTING DATE: As Soon As Possible

HOURS: Full Time - Office hours 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday (Flexibility in part-time or hybrid hours will be considered)

ANNUAL LEAVE: 20 days per year pro-rata from the starting date + extra holiday for your Birthday (never work on your birthday again)

SALARY: £18,000 to £24,000 Dependant on Experience

PLACE OF WORK: Workshed, London Street, Swindon, SN1

Where are we based?
And where will the rule operate from?

The head office and full team all work office in Carriage Works on London Street, Swindon (SN1). The work will be fully based at in the team offices, but as a team there is some flexibility around working from home during the current pandemic and we facilitate working arrangements using Zoom, Monday.com, Slack and DropBox.

As a team we meet daily for a team huddle to catch up over coffee each morning and to touch base with one another.
